The Fluke Networks DSX-8000 is a high-bandwidth copper cable certifier (Versiv platform) — it certifies twisted-pair structured cabling to the highest categories (Cat 8 and beyond), measuring wiremap, length, insertion loss, NEXT, return loss, and related parameters for installers certifying network cabling. As a field-carried certification instrument, its faults concentrate in the test ports/adapters, the measurement engine, the touchscreen, and the battery.
