Description
Fluke DTX-1800 Cable Analyzer Calibration and Repair
The Fluke Networks DTX-1800 is a copper and fiber cable analyzer/certifier that certifies twisted-pair cabling (wiremap, length, insertion loss, NEXT, return loss) and, with adapters, fiber, for network cabling certification. As a field-carried certification instrument with a paired main and remote unit, its faults concentrate in the test ports/adapters, the measurement engine, the display, and the battery.
FlukeMeterRepair.com repairs and calibrates the Fluke DTX-1800 for cabling installers and network test teams.
Common Fluke DTX-1800 problems we fix
- Certification-measurement faults — NEXT, return-loss, or insertion-loss measurement drift, recalibrated against standards.
- Test-port / adapter faults — worn or damaged ports or link adapters degrading results, repaired.
- Main/remote pairing faults — the units not communicating, repaired.
- Display or interface faults — repaired.
- Won’t power on or hold a charge — battery/power faults (send both units).

They calibrated both cable analyzers and all of the adapters, and the price and turn around time were great.
