Description

Fluke 1555 Insulation Meter Repair Services

The Fluke 1555 is a critical instrument used by motor shop technicians, electrical maintenance crews, cable testing contractors, and predictive maintenance teams. When this equipment fails or drifts out of specification, FlukeMeterRepair.com delivers expert repair and NIST-traceable calibration to restore full operational accuracy.

About the Fluke 1555

As a fluke insulation tester instrument, the Fluke 1555 is designed for demanding applications. Specifically, Fluke insulation testers apply high DC voltage to measure insulation resistance in motors, cables, transformers, and switchgear to detect insulation deterioration. Accurate and reliable performance is essential — measurement drift or component failure can cause costly errors, compliance issues, and project delays.

Common Fluke Insulation Tester Issues We Repair

Our repair process addresses the root cause of every issue:

  • Battery degradation: resolved through targeted diagnostics and precision repair techniques
  • Hv generator drift: diagnosed through systematic testing and resolved with component-level repair
  • Measurement ranging errors: identified during our multi-point inspection and corrected to restore specification performance
  • Guard terminal issues: addressed with OEM-grade components and verified against traceable standards
  • Display failures: repaired by technicians experienced with Fluke instrumentation

Calibration and Performance Verification

Every Fluke 1555 repair includes NIST-traceable calibration covering key parameters such as insulation resistance, megohm, and polarization index. We issue detailed calibration certificates documenting measured performance against manufacturer specifications.

1 review for Fluke 1555 Insulation Meter Repair

  1. Stacey Jones

Our Fluke 1555 outputs readings became erratic slowly. It became obvious we could not trust the readings, so we had to send in for repair and calibration. We were very content with the process with the emails, repair inquiry, repair estimate, repair invoice. All very situated and concise as well as the results received when our insulation tester was returned. IOS-9001 certification was in order as well.
