Description
Fluke 381 Clamp Meter Calibration and Repair
The Fluke 381 is a true-RMS clamp meter with a detachable remote display and an included iFlex flexible current probe, measuring AC/DC current plus voltage and resistance. Its accuracy depends on the clamp jaw/current sensor (and any flexible probe) and the measurement circuitry, which is where repair and calibration focus.
FlukeMeterRepair.com repairs and calibrates the Fluke 381 for electricians and maintenance technicians.
Common Fluke 381 problems we fix
- Remote-display / connectivity faults — the detachable/remote display not communicating, repaired.
- Clamp-jaw / current-sensor faults — a damaged or misaligned jaw giving erratic readings, repaired.
- Current measurement out of spec — the measurement drifting, recalibrated against standards.
- Display or battery faults — repaired.
- Terminal or function-switch faults.
FAQs
My 381 clamp reading is off — fixable? Yes. Jaw and measurement faults are repairable, then the clamp meter is recalibrated so current and other readings are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the clamp verified? Yes — the jaw (and iFlex probe, if included) and all functions are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or request service.
