Description
Fluke 718-1G Pressure Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 718-1G is a low-pressure calibrator with a built-in pump — it generates low pressure/vacuum with an integral pump (1 psi/g range), measures pressure with a sensitive internal sensor plus the mA loop signal, to calibrate low-pressure transmitters in the field. Its precision lives in the pump, the sensitive low-pressure sensor, and the mA circuit.
FlukeMeterRepair.com repairs and calibrates the Fluke 718-1G for process and instrument-calibration technicians.
Common Fluke 718-1G problems we fix
- Low-pressure sensor drift — the sensitive low-pressure sensor drifting out of spec, recalibrated against standards.
- Pump / pressure-hold faults — a worn pump or seals that stop it generating or holding low pressure, serviced.
- Over-pressure damage — the sensitive low-range sensor damaged by an over-range event, assessed and repaired.
- mA source/measure faults — the loop measurement drifting, recalibrated.
- Display or battery faults.
FAQs
My 718-1G low-pressure reading is off — fixable? Yes. The sensitive low-range sensor and pump faults are repairable and recalibrated against our reference standards so low-pressure and mA are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the full range verified? Yes — pressure and mA are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or request service.
